The best way to ensure a correctly-sized pump is to figure out the gallon per minute (GPM) you require and how much resistive force (TDH) that must be overcome to get the desired flow.
Look for the Bell & Gossett name tag. This can be found on the pumping assembly (front end of the pump); in the case that the pump is set on a base (1510, VSX, HSC) the plate is on the base of the pump. On it is the serial #.
